1st Place in the 2017 Galaxy Awards She thought she would have a normal autumn. But that was 5 years ago. Ever since her sister fell and left, she felt she would never be able to bounce back. No one treated her the same. She wasn't the same. She never would be. But then he came. He changed her world without knowing. For how could he? She never told him she was different before they met. She told the one person she knew she could trust. The one person she knew would understand. Her sister. If only her sister could remember. This story is about a girl like you and me. She has her fair share of problems, ranging from school to crush. She gets excited when she sees a puppy and moody when mother nature comes knocking. But she does have to deal with just one more thing. The fact that her sister fell and forgot everything. The fact that the doctor's think it's safer for her to stay that way. The fact that at only 8 years old, her sister was completely changed to a whole other person, new family included, and would never remember her again. 5 years later, Autumn Chere is still dealing with the PTSD of it all, and her therapists recommended to keep a journal of everything so that maybe she can sort through her thoughts enough to write it down. She does the next best thing. In a last desperate attempt to heal her sister's broken mind, she writes letters to her, convinced that she would remember even better and longer with words rather than pictures. But what happened to her sister? What happened with Axel? What happened to her? Find all this out and more in my first REAL book, Falling.

Once upon a time, a story was written about a flower. But it was not just any flower. It was a rose. After this story, many others followed, and each was unique. However, every story shared two common denominators: the red rose, and a young girl. Some of these girls had hair as black as night, or lips as red as the rose itself. Some of these girls were blonde, with eyes that pierced the soul. But there was one that was different. This is her story. Evelyn Davidson is a normal teenager living her life during the civil war. However, her brother and father have been drafted to become soldiers. With a slowly deteriorating mother to take care of, she starts to lose herself as well. Dear Reader, This is the story of my life. With a motif of colors, I tell the stories of certain moments that changed me forever. Each part of life can represent a certain color. Colors represent everything we see, in every part of life. I've related these colors to moments from my own life. Some moments may be darker than others. Some moments may have put a shining light into my heart. But every moment matters just the same, because every single second, minute, and hour of my life has shaped me into the person writing to you now. Read this to see how life is wishes. Read this to see how life is messy. Read this to see how life is painful. Read this to see how life is surprises. Read this to see how life is changes. Read this to see how life is destructive. Read this to see how life is unfair. Read this to see how life is special. Read this to see how, sometimes, life is just there. And that's okay. Sincerely, Remy ••• First place winner of the Beauty Awards First place winner of the Mist Awards ••• Warning: possible suicide and self harm triggers ••• By: @life_is_wishes
