Julienne, the main character is an impulsive, rebel teenager, who feels misunderstood by her mother. She hates the system and feels there is more to life than fitting in. After a big fight with her mother she receives a mysterious letter from the Illuminati school. She is invited to attend the courses of this school and her whole world is turned upside down. Curiosity and anger push her to go there, where she is introduced to a universe, full of deception, trickery and lies, ruled by mind control and thirst for power. When Julienne is asked by the arrogant headmistress to give a speech, all students cheer her on and one also asks her to become the principal. As an outcome, not only does she have to master classes with her teachers and attend secret missions, but she also has to learn how to deal with her mother's past, which haunts her in form of the headmistress. She hates her with all her guts and is determined to make her life a living hell. But why? And who could have sent her the mysterious letter ? Why was she chosen out of all the people? Was attending this school the right decision or a terrible mistake?
