Regina was "One of the few" selected to go to Lightwood Private School away from her Mother. "In Lightwood there is an opportunity to see how special you can be... A way to express yourself freely... The help you need to find your true self and go through it." At the arrival Regina quickly finds a friend and roommate and a strange boy with a dark secret. Soon she realize that Lightwood is nothing as it seems to the naked eye. Kade is a boy surrounded by darkness and let's darkness controls him but when he start interacting with the girl full of resistance to his power. His curiousity quickly turns into something he can't understand. This will lead into love- which leads to confusion- and creates the danger of Regina Pierce's life.
