The mirror ripples as if it was a hard rain on a lake. A man clad in black leaps from the mirror with a shout, landing on Chang. You scream. This wasn't suppose to be happening. This was suppose to only be stories that your grandmother told you. They were suppose to be fake. Chang shoves the dark haired man into the wall, shaking the mirror. The man groans but reacts quick. He jabs his knee up as he pushes your abuser's head down, instantly knocking him out. You clutched onto your chest with heavy breaths, trying to calm down. The man looks up slowly, brown eyes glowing with adrenaline. "Where am I? This isn't the lounge of Queen Kim Jisoo. Unless her servants didn't keep up with it." His deep tenor voice ripples in your ears. You shake your head. "No this is a basement of my late grandmother. How did you come through the mirror? Who are you? And who is Queen Kim Jisoo?" The man frowns and shifts his weight onto one foot. "I'm Kim Namjoon. Leader of a group of Echoes, defenders of the Echo Territories, Axonor. You?"

From this day forth, you will have the power to shift back and again from human to reaper." The Ancient Parent Reapers added the last cup of dead man's blood. They do a fancy ancient dance around the alter of bones, blood, special herbs, and other ingredients to make a reaperet, a baby reaper. Gold and orange magic streams flow out of their black ragged cloaks. It surrounds the alter, wrapping it in a eerie glow. The dance was complete. "We must find a good family for this one." Barbosa, the lead Parent Reaper, set a (literal) bony hand on the wrapped alter. He gently pushes the glowing streams, making them form a gray-white wrap. "We have until the next Gally Day." "But, that's in nine months. It's takes 12 to make a reaper." Susan, a Parent Reaper in training, gasped at this sudden news. "Susan, this child will be able to shift from human to reaper. It must be formed in nine months." The second in command, raised an eyebrow, in theory. (Since you can't see past the unnatural darkness from the cloak, and even if you could, it would be just a skull, which doesn't have any eyebrows. Or hair. Or anything really since it's a reaper.) "You have a lot to learn." "Okay, but why must the dead line be the next Gally Day?" Susan shrugged. "If it doesn't have a family to be assigned to, it will turn to a vengeful spirt. Those Winchesters have enough on their plate, a reaper that can change form will be a...a... a nightmare for them?" Barbosa shrugged, not knowing how to describe it since those Winchesters have been to the Underworld and back.

Maisie's deaf, she understands what everyone is saying to her by reading their lips. But, high school wasn't easy for her. Been the new girl is always tough, but when you're deaf it's worse. That one group of 'popular' thought it'd be funny to bully her for both reasons, she's new and she's deaf so how will she know what they're saying? Then there's Zach. He has his group of friends; they're the 'bad boys' of the year. Everyone's scared of them. So when one day, he sees what these 'popular' people are doing to Maisie, he feels the need to protect her, but Zach, along with the rest of his friends are un-aware that Maisie's deaf. So how will they react to finding out that she's deaf? And what happens when someone from Zach's life pops up unexpectedly?

So I wasn't so sure about posting this because it isn't finished, but I'd appreciate any advice and am in need of the encouragement to finish it because I get bored way too easily. So far, I have it set up to where the reader (you) and Sam will be a ship, Destiel will be a ship eventually, and Charlie is your best friend. It's all set up in an alternative universe where you are just starting college.
