After a long year of events, everyone returns to Camp Half Blood. For a first, though, there's nothing to worry about except their own problems. Which, is fine, until they're bored out of their minds and need to stab something. In the meantime, Percy and Nico have both gone through breakups recently and are finding themselves in a really sort of weird friendship from it. Of course, Nico would like more than just that, but he also doesn't want to push his boundaries. Of course, he doesn't realize that Percy would also like the same thing.

Nico di Angelo had a normal life. He was sitting on his couch, reading a book when the news were in a panic, saying bombs were dropping. Nico and his family escaped to the vault on top of the hill, everything in pandemonium, and were forced into chambers in rooms, where they were cryogenically frozen. Centuries later, Nico's chamber opened. Everything he knew was long gone. He was the only survivor of the Vault 111 experiment. - - - - - Percy Jackson was an inhabitant of Vault 101. He was a respected member of the Vault and was very happy. He loved his best friends and his mother, and he had many privileges. However, he had one disadvantage: he had never been outside before. Percy just broke. Why? Annabeth broke up with Percy. Only one person seems to be able to get close to Percy. No one knows why that is. Who is it? Nico di Angelo. Sequel- Silent Smiles Will Percy ever get better?

Angst. That's what being a teenager is all about, right? When Nico finally decides on coming out to Percy and admitting to his crush on the son of Poseidon, it's not the scenario he exactly wanted. Sure, he's okay with it. But now things are weird. It's awkward. And it's almost worse than how it was before. At least they could talk to each other before.

After Annabeth's death at the end of the Giant War, Percy goes home and grieves, learning to move on with his live. Meanwhile at camp, Nico decided to stay and while he didn't come out, he still had a good year. Now it's June and everyone is back on the Argo II for a check in mission just to make sure everything is okay over in Europe. Without Annabeth, Percy's doing okay, although the others get a bit worried. In all reality, though, he's just happy that Nico's back.
