"What makes you think you can stop us, foolish pest?" "Why, I'm not unlike a man with a revolver in hand. Six shots, each as capable of killing you as the others." ----- The Sinhe Confederation's iron grip on the simpler people of the Yurvhan region has never squeezed tighter. The vanquished land swarms with troops to keep people in line and tribute money flowing to the capital's coffers. Mutual resentment electrifies every interaction between oppressed and oppressor. When a new regional governor takes power, the local administration's focus undergoes a shift. The new woman in charge seeks to exploit the natives' land and dig up unique resources for her own gain and that of the Sinhe motherland. But by now, the people have had enough. A six-piece team of covert operatives come together to stop her designs with cunning plans and surgical attacks. Mastermind, soldier, doctor, mechanic, sniper, and driver alike must give this fight their all. The question is, will the alliance of the black rose be enough to spark lasting change? ----- "It's time the rodents bite back." ------ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED © 2020 by @Flamesword01 Cover by @Writesthetic

A Study in Scarlet is a 1887 detective novel by British author Arthur Conan Doyle. Written in 1886, the story marks the first appearance of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, who would become two of the most famous characters in popular fiction. The book's title derives from a speech given by Holmes, an amateur detective, to his friend and chronicler Watson on the nature of his work, in which he describes the story's murder investigation as his "study in scarlet": "There's the scarlet thread of murder running through the colourless skein of life, and our duty is to unravel it, and isolate it, and expose every inch of it."
