A few months after the battle with Ronan, the Guardians are sent on a mission to retrieve a powerful weapon from the hands of a group of Sakaarans. Little do the band of misfits know that the weapon isn't an object, but a young girl who was tortured and created into one. Fearing for the child's safety, Gamora convinces the Guardians to let her stay with them. The only question; can a group of ex-criminals care for a genetically-modified child? The guardians are back and Rocket, Star-lord/Peter, Gamora, Groot and Drax are ready to make one hell of a story.... Groot is trying to grow...and in the process talk with Rocket, as he is busy building a ship. Peter is trying to work his magic on Gamora...Yet she's interested to see him work hard for her. Drax on the other hand, he is Secretly dating Gamora's other sister, Lyann... who isn't on their side.

As they were on their way to the warehouse, where they were meeting the dealer, Peter and Gamora heard something different. Something that was familiar and rare at the same time; singing. What was unique about it; the lyrics were in English and it was coming from a little girl with an extremely beautiful voice.
