Tate did terrible things to many people, including Violet and her family. The thing is, he never wanted to do any of those things. It was the house that drove him mad. Now he is worried that the same thing is happening to Violet. He tries to be her salvation, but it's kind of hard when she won't speak to him. Will Tate be able to pull her back to the light?

Tate is still waiting for Violet to forgive him, so when a boy dies in the murder house Tate loathes him, but soon realizes that Violet still loves him, and isn't after the newly dead guy.
