Miguel Rivera grew up without a father, he only knew him as a small infant but then he left. It was only him, his mom and the rest of his family that resented Miguel's father and music which is what he left for. Now 12, Miguel wants answers and wants to figure out why his father left him.

What if Hector had a great great granddaughter shall I say Grandniece from HIS side of the family? His sister, María had missed her Hermano and told her daughter stories of him, and years passed, his side of the family slowly began to die out, except for one little girl. Her name: is Camila Velez Like her great great granduncle, she adored music. Would sing or play an instrument every time she got the chance, and she knew how to play the guitar well. The only thing is, she never knew how this came to be, she only kept a picture of her Great great grandmother, María's picture along with a man that she never knew. She's also an orphan, her mother passed away but she still remembered her and her other family members that had died before her. One day, on the day of Día de los Muertos, The day of the Dead, she met someone who would change both of their worlds and his name: Is Miguel Rivera. Together they decided to do the music competition together, and when his family fought him against that and when his abuelita destroyed his guitar, they ran off together to go to the cemetery for Miguel to borrow Ernesto Del la Cruz's/ Papa Héctor's guitar. Only for them to be cursed. Which lead to them to get separated from panic, Miguel got reunited from his family while Camila was lost and saw people, well, the skeletons walking in and out from an Marigold bridge and felt like she had to go there, there is where she'll meet someone who she forgot and always wanted to know. Her great great Tío: Héctor. Join Camila, Miguel, Hector, Dante, the dead Rivera Family and the Dead Velez family as they embark on a amazing journey on the Land of the Dead before sunrise. Will Camila and Miguel make it in time? Stay tuned to find out!

This fanfic conveys the tale of Moana and Maui's journey, including when they first met, but with some interesting plot twists.

"Hector..." She said, taking his hand in hers, "Y-you're..I mean- you're gonna be okay." She forced herself to smile, despite her nervousness. She knew deep down that his chances of surviving were slim. She knew her daughter was very old and had very bad memories. Hell, Coco didn't even remember Miguel's name. Hector looked up at his wife, letting out another sharp breath and violent shiver. "I-Imelda...I-I'm s-sorry.." Imelda instantly hushed him, shutting her eyes tight. "Don't. Don't talk like that. You're gonna be okay, I swear. Coco will remember you. Miguel won't let her forget.." Hector breathed heavily, glancing over at Imelda's family. "Y-you did s-so well w-without me...I-I wish I could've b-been there with you..I wish I never left." "Hector, please." She begged, squeezing his hand, "Stop..I refuse to lose you again!" "I-Imelda.." He breathed out, "I- I love you...p-please don't ever forget that.." Just a jumble of one-shots about Hector and Imelda cause they're freaking cute.

This is the story behind what happenned in the movie Coco. Many of us know the story about Miguel, the boy who crossed trough the mystical cémpasúchil (flowers) bridge and arrived to the land of the dead with his great great grandfather's guitar, discovering a greater and more beautiful truth than the one that he was looking for. Everyone of us know what Hector really felt his family and the true reason of his death, but, Did you ever asked yourself...What did happenned before the tragedy? Which where the lifes of each one and why did they make the decissions that marked his destiny? Here I bring to you, a little story about the possible lifes that Miguel's ancesters led before their tragic ends. Remember; The principal characters are not mine, instead, they are property of Walt Disney Pictures y Pixar studios. I simply borrowed them for this work.
