King's Academy is an elite boarding school, home to some of richest and/or smartest kids around. You can get a scholarship in if your bright enough, or you can just pay your way into being welcome. Mackenzie Ziegler is one of many students. She personally made it to this school based off of her brains, but her family has no shortage of money as it is. King's has been a kind of escape for her, since at home her mom is always traveling, and her dad has another family. Brynn Rumfallo comes from a very wealthy household. Her parents sent her to King's Academy in eighth grade because they wanted her out of the house. She's always felt so out of place there, because she isn't as gifted as some of the other students. Next we have Lauren and Johnny Orlando. The twins, come from a normal family, with not too much money. They both tested into the school in seventh grade, considering they are both extremely intelligent. Annie Leblanc started going here in freshman year. Her family is basically famous, if you count internet fame as real fame. After her older brother died things got hectic in her house, this school was a distraction for her. Last we have Hayden Sumerall. He is the most out of place in this school. He's basically a basketball prodigy, in a place where sports are like a forgiven language. The only reason he started attending was because he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his three brothers. No matter what purpose King's Academy serves for it's students, one thing they could always ensure was an amazing school year. It's where everyone's best friends are, and where some of their best memories are made. Everything changes in Senior year though. What happens when this innocent little school turns into something no one could have predicted? And it all starts with the murder of Chloe Lukasiak.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Mackenzie Ziegler and Johnny Orlando have been best friends since they were four years old. It's a pretty cliché story, they're next door neighbors. Considering thier close proximity, and the fact that they were the same age, it just brought them together. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie and John are now both sixteen and obviously life is a lot more complicated, but through it all they have always had each other. Sometimes they were the only thing the other was leaning on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Johnny is popular, to say the least. He has one of those personality's you can't help but like him. He's probably one of the funniest people Kenzie has ever met, in times when she has felt the most defeated, he was the only person to make her smile. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie is extremely intelligent, she has always had good grades. School has always come easy to her, there was no thought about. She may not have the type of status Johnny has, but she's one of kindest people on the earth. Sometimes it has let people step all over her, but Johnny would never let anyone who hurt her do it twice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Being best friends with someone of the opposite gender is always controversial. Maybe it's right to be though, because as much as people try to deny it, feelings will develop. The only problem is, will it destroy an amazing friendship? [COMPLETED]
