After Wei Wuxian kills the Wen clan and Lan Wanji had left but after he left Wei Wuxian made a promise to see him. Lan Wanji heard this and left a tear running down his face the future to please. Wei Ying was young when he was found by the Jiang sect, half starved on the streets of the Wen Clan.
