Aurelia James is a strange girl. Just a few years ago, she was partying with the best of them, carefree, happy and at the top of the social ladder. And then the summer of her seventeenth year came, and nothing was the same. Back at school, the old Auri was gone, replaced by a gloomy, Goth version of her; one that had no friends, was at the bottom of social scene and was afraid of the dark. But as you delve deeper and deeper into the terrors that reside around Aurelia James, you'll begin to realize that maybe she's not that strange after all. Maybe... just maybe, she has a right to be afraid of the dark... (~~~~Not the FULL story. Chapters taken down.~~~)

An original short story written by yours truly. It was inspired one morning before school by my lack of inspiration, ironically. The Tin Writer is supposed to symbolize talent - that although we may think that our talent was a one-time thing of the past, it's still there, just waiting to be reawakened. This story has won the Silver Key in the Young Author's of Arizona Scholastic Writing contest last year.
