Nico di Angelo had been shunned by his father, King Hades, for two years after he came out and told him he's gay. Since then, the young boy lived two years as a normal commoner, lying to others about others about whom he really is and where's he's been. Will Solace, son of King Apollo, has live a normal life in the Sun Palace with loving and supporting family. He's never had to worry too much about what his parents thought of him. Two years after Nico was rejected by his father, his older sister, Bianca, comes to him with news. She is getting married to Prince Will Solace and he's been invited back to his home palace to meet his soon to be brother in law. Nico agrees, for the sake of his sisters, to come home. I'm in the process of rewriting this story because this turned out really badly in my opinion so be aware of that while you read :). Nico di Angelo is a sophomore in highschool, he doesn't have many friends and talking isn't one of his strong suits. His routine life of staying indoors and being quiet is interrupted by something, well, someone. Will Solace. nico's a demon, will's an angel, and they fall in love during a war. what could possibly go wrong? intentional lowercase for the description; the actual fic has proper capitalization. the writing is pretty bad and the plot is all over the place but it's cutesy sometimes so knock yourselves out. if swearing bothers you, skip the author's notes because i swear sometimes. the actual fic has no strong language.

As royalty, Will Solace had his life planned out the day he was born. His parents control everything he does, including who he has to marry. They've picked a girl named Bianca Di Angelo, who is a princess from an ally kingdom. Their marriage will seal an alliance which will help both kingdoms. Since they've never met each other, their parents arrange for Bianca to stay at the castle for a while. She brings her brother Nico along with her, to keep her company. The marriage doesn't go exactly as planned... Will takes one look at the couple and falls in love... With Nico. Solangelo high school au Usually Will Solace doesn't have problems finding friends, but this time everything is different. He gets in a fight his very first day at the new school and he meets Nico di Angelo. Just slowly he understands why the boy keeps pushing everyone away, how broken he is and what he feels for him. Nico has known Will since preschool, at least he thinks he has. In reality, Nico is suffering from schizophrenia and Will is the only hallucination he has that isn't hateful and cruel, in fact, he's just the opposite.
