No matter how close you are to them, there are certain things you just don't say. No matter how lonely you feel, there are certain people you just don't befriend. No matter how much you've fallen, there's always a guy you shouldn't give your heart to... Sadly for me, I learnt the last one only after I had gotten my heart broken. They say that you shouldn't look down upon anyone, or you will be put in their situation and made to experience the crisis. When I was fourteen, I had rolled my eyes at a girl who was sobbing histerically over a guy who liked her best friend. And I was probably paying the price for that now. However, I was trying my best to fit my feet in the shoes I had been given. I was trying and I was managing just fine. What I didn't need was a trouble maker who entered my life without permission. The guy who claimed to be bowled over by me, the one with a broken heart. Little did he know, I had entrusted myself to Al Malik, The Owner of me and my heart. And if he had to reach me, he had to do so by pleasing Allah. Which wasn't possible for a guy like him. Or so I thought.

I walked down the white hallways filled with the smell of bleach and chlorine. The lights above were too bright, too luminescent. I can't think. I can't look straight. I can't breathe. Everything was blurry. I touched my cheeks and felt tears cascade down to my chin. My steps faltered. My heart wouldn't stop beating out of my chest. "I'm sorry Nouran." She had looked at me sadly, eyes filled with emptiness. No, no, no. What am I going to do? What am I going to tell him? Him. Izhar. I can't breathe.... #1 in spiritual "You are mine!" He claimed, gazing at her deep hazel eyes intensely. "No, I was never yours."She countered, as a lone tear fell from her eyes. "You were and you are. I will not let you get married to anyone else and there will be only my name in your henna!" Daniyal smiled gandering at her delicate hands, which were soon going to be covered with henna, but with his name? "Aren't you happy that I am finally leaving your house! Please Daniyal! You know how much it took me to be okay after you broke our friendship! Then you came back again as if nothing happened?" Kinza Malak burst into tears. Her bottled up emotions exploded like a volcano abruptly! "I am sorry Kinza. I was a jerk back then; I spoilt everything. Please let me fulfil the promise, my dad made to your abbu," with that he walked away, hiding hurt and love in his emotionless eyes, leaving a shocking Kinza behind.

"Don't put it that way, please!" "Then how do you want me to put it, if this isn't kidnapping?!"She yelled at him, fuming in anger as she stood up from the bed. * "Ms.Mehek, please.."He called, taking long strides towards her. "Dont come near me!"She yelled and started throwing the things at him which were kept at the bed side table, while he dodged them easily. "Dont come near me, you make me disgusted with myself. You are a non-mehram." She pushed him with full force and he stumbled back. "Then get ready for the Nikah!"He said, calmly after a long moment of silence and dashed out of the room.

[COMPLETED]. HIGHEST RANKING: #68 in short stories [16/06/16] "Wallahi you are so breath taking, so... I don't think a word is even created to describe your beauty." I took a big gulp, the moment he said those words to me, I can swear he must have heard it from how loud it was. "As the Prophet (saw) said in a hadith, 'When I met Yusuf (as), I saw that Allah (swt) has blessed him with half of the beauty of the whole world, while the other half has been spread over the rest of it' but in my eyes the rest was actually blessed upon you" I opened my mouth to say something but then nothing came out and I just stood there with my mouth open. "I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you, ever since the moment I laid eyes on you when we were kids I knew you were the one for me and no other girl could ever take your place" hearing him say everything he was saying, was making my heart beat escalate. "you are my first love, my first wife, my first everything and inshallah you will be my one and only even after my last breath" [Disclaimer: not edited, needs major editing]

Rabbi shrahli sadri. wayassirli amri. wahlul uqdatam millisani. yafqahu qawli. [surah Taha] It is said by our prophet (PBUH) that "if a women prays her *five (daily prayers) *fasts her month (Ramadan) *guards her chastity and *obeys her husband, it will be said to her enter paradise by whichever of the gates of paradise you wish" 'Do you have a boyfriend?', 'Did your fiance confessed his love towards you?', 'Did he propose you? Aww that is so cute', really? How often do we ask those questions and how easy it is for us to answer them as a 'yes'. But do we even realise that it is not lawful in the eyes of our Creator? Do we even realise that we are violating the rules of being a Muslim because Muslim literally means 'the one who submits to the will of God'. The story stresses on the particular topics which the present youth is going through. A girls journey from haram to halal who was trapped in haram things and a lesson for those who attach their hearts before marrying.
