Lucy's life is a living hell. She hates her job and her controlling, alcoholic boyfriend has been physically and mentally abusing her for years- hurting her, using her against her will and threatening her whenever she attempts to leave him. One night, everything gets too much for her. Upset, exhausted and injured, she finally escapes from the clutches of the violent relationship. She has no idea what to do next and thinks that her life is over.... but is she as alone as she thinks she is? Chris Martin is known worldwide as Coldplay's bubbly, caring, incredibly talented frontman. He's one of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. He seems to have everything in life... from music, his best friends/bandmates to his family. Although deep down, he's still heartbroken after his and his ex's (Gwyneth Paltrow) traumatic Conscious Uncoupling and is struggling with the aftermath.... He feels worthless, and isn't sure he wants to fall for someone only to be betrayed again. He thinks that no one else would want to be with him ... however, could things change in the near future? Will Lucy be able to escape her past or will it catch up with her? Or will she finally get the life she's always wanted? And will Chris learn to trust someone else and find true love again? You'll find out soon 😅 I started writing this in late 2015, but the start of the story is set during the Ghost Stories era (2014). I know some topics/ the storyline won't relate to real life sometimes but it's only fiction- everything's make believe. I'd like to clarify that all of my ideas are original and belong to me only. After a devastating fight on Christmas Eve, Chris left London and took refuge in his New York flat. He thought that this Christmas was gonna be his loneliest, that he wouldn't have anybody with him to share his thoughts and feelings. He thought that he deserved to die. He was wrong. Through a series of almost impossible incidents, he rediscovers forgotten memories and their significance in shaping his life, with the help of a mysterious green eyed lady. Thousands of thoughts cloud his mind, and hundreds of feelings sweep over him. The pain becomes unbearable. But every cloud has a silver lining. Everyone has a reason to live.
