Tyler Jøseph is not a happy boy. After discovering he's hearing voices and seeing things, the alter ego he has named Blurryface, his parents take him to a psychiatric hospital. A few weeks later, Tyler gets a roommate. His name is Jøsh and they click more than anyone could have expected. {this contains description and mentions of depression, anxiety, suicide and self-harm. trigger warning so read at your own risk.} *based off my own time spent in a psychiatric hospital where I met an amazing roommate myself.* -I wrote this story by hand while I was in the hospital so it's all on paper. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. After Josh killed three people, his dark past finally catches up with them due to a certain enemy which lands him and Tyler both two tickets to their county prison. Recently engaged Tyler and Josh are forced to cancel, yet again their tour and left with no choice other than to obey the prison rules. Meaning they must adapt to the lifestyle behind bars which might not be as easy as they thought. They do unspeakable things just to stay alive, but will that be enough?

They're in a band together, performing is in their blood. That all ends way too soon when Tyler has an accident and gets amnesia; barely remembering his own name, he forgets everyone, including his lifetime best friend: Josh. Despite not being remembered, Josh takes care of him and assures his well being all throughout his recovery while trying to bring his memories back. He walks around the house blasting twenty one pilots and singing along while casually putting on their favourite tv series and/or anything that may trigger his memories. Josh's ultimate goal is to gain his friendship back with Tyler, even if that means jeopardizing everything, including their music career. The two boys are back home and Tyler begins to re-discover music for what feels like the very first time. Between learning the piano and writing poetry, he starts to remember Twenty Øne Piløts, the band he and Josh formed. Josh is forced to deal with his past, haunted by the memories of what he's done to bring Tyler home safely.
