An AU where both Nate and Katie get a Yo-kai from Mount Wildwood. On a typical summer day, two kids from the town of Springdale come across a strange capsule machine and find themselves thrown into the world of Yo-kai after releasing a Yo-kai named Whisper from the capsule machine. As they use their Yo-kai Watches to solve the problems of humans and Yo-kai alike, they end up having a summer that they won't soon forget. When their Yo-kai friends returned to the Human Realm, all Nate and Katie wanted was to get back to befriending Yo-kai and learning about them, but their summer ends up taking a strange turn as they end up traveling back in time to when the Yo-kai Watch was invented and discover their true connection to the device as they end up trying to save the world once again.
