Sequel to Along the Dotted Line, this book won't make sense unless you've read that book first. Emily left. She left everything that had to do with Mark behind and went to live with Jack in Ireland. There was one thing that she couldn't get rid of though. She was pregnant with Mark's child. He was alone. All alone again. Emily had left him because of Abigail. Mark needed Emily back, and he wouldn't stop until he found her. He wanted to provide for her so that she wouldn't be hungry ever again or need to wear the same pair of shoes for seven years. He loved her. But she had slipped right though his fingers because he was too nice and let someone in his house that he shouldn't have. Jack was caught in the middle. He got regular calls from Mark, updating him on the whole story. He knew everything. He had heard both sides of the story, yet he couldn't bring himself to tell Emily or Mark the truth. He didn't know if it was because he still loved Emily, or the fact that Emily didn't even talk about Mark anymore, but he couldn't do it. Life is hard. People hurt you. But the world keeps turning.

I'm sorry, this is just gonna be short because for some reason, this description just keeps deleting itself and I'm tired of it's nonsense. Emily Jones is a girl who no one understands. Abused, hurt, broken. At least, that's all she sees when she looks in the mirror. Mark is sweet, caring, and optimistic. He won't go down without a fight, and he won't let anybody tell him he should give up. When he meets Emily, he's enthralled. He wants to know everything about her. What makes her tick. When he sees Emily, he sees someone with a big heart who's both afraid and not afraid at all. He sees talent in her singing, and passion for the arts. He sees a fighter who won't give up, no matter what hell life seems to throw in her face. He wants to know Emily Jones. He wants to know all the lines and strokes that make up her picture. Even the dotted ones she thinks she erased.
