She's his executive assistant, but he doesn't treat her like it. She hates her job but she'll do what ever she needs to to put food on the table. And if that means being a doormat, then so be it. She just has to put Crystal through school so she doesn't have to get a job like this, in order to survive. Once Crystal moves out, then Astrid can quit. She'll have done her job. Hayden has no idea of her living situation. He thinks it's like anyone else's. But he couldn't be more wrong. He probably wouldn't be that wrong if anyone knew anything about her besides her name. They don't even know her birthday for office parties. When Hayden finds out about Astrid's unflattering date-crasher, he scares her with his next moves.
