After finishing his teaching masters degree the spring before his 25th birthday, Frank finds himself moving home to care for his sick mother and taking a very uninspiring job as an English teacher at Belleville High School. It was a job he was certain would be boring until he learns quickly that Gerard is a senior at the same high school. Emotions flare and tensions rise as Frank realizes the feelings he thought were long and buried are still very much around. Will Frank risk it all to be with Gerard again or are his wounds too deep to heal.
