A retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk! Kicking rocks along the street, boots worn, and short ginger colored hair-this is the outward look of a girl with many secrets, most of which she doesn't even know. Jackie is a rough seventeen year old girl, hardened by the loss of her parents. Today is the ceremony of the Storytelling of Jack, a warrior who protected her quaint village from an aggressive giant. Every year the once poor orphaned boy is celebrated for his achievements. Jackie looks on to Jack for inspiration, and dreams to climb up the Beanstalk just like him. But she can't. Or at least, not without some help. Magic flowing to the tips of her fingers, huddled over a notebook made of flower petals, scrambling with a green pen is the giant, so far above. She sits on her cloud, sighing as she nostalgically feels something she cannot remember. It's fluid like soothing water, but passionately burning like fire at same time, a magic she can't even begin to place. The memories are so palpable, yet so far away-a still emptiness. Who will fill the hole inside her heart? Cover by: @Akaijo

Reputations. They're things people usually obtain without asking for, and seemingly applied to everyone no matter how true or false they may be. Do you know the saying good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught? Kaillie Adams has the reputation for being your typical good girl. She's nice, smart and gets good grades. She's even dating the school's quarterback, Zach Holden. But since childhood, one of Kaillie's best friends has been Carter Williams, who has recently gained the reputation of being the school's resident bad boy. That's not exactly someone a typical good girl would hang out with, now is it? Because there is always more to someone than what meets the eye, more than what labels society gives them. It seems everyone has a reputation. But the thing is, they aren't usually right. Eric Ramirez is not a romantic. From the second he was born, that "type" of love never mattered to him. Instead, he focused on three things: family, boxing, and sex. Unfortunately, Eric has to face reality and deal with the drawbacks of his family. Even though everyone in his life abandoned him, he still continues to fight for the last piece of hope. Natalie Willson is far from perfect. Even though her mother persistantly pushes her to be the best. She realizes that she cannot live up to the insane standards and spirals down a path of alchohol. Utlimately, Natalie is forced to switch schools and becomes tormented by her unforgettable past. Her burning rage brightens every day and for some reason. She can't find anything to extinguish the fire in her chest. A hot, intense attraction ignites between the two and nothing could feel better than that. But even love can prevail. Before Eric or Natalie realize it, their love is in the middle of a violent war that neither of them can escape. Can love truly be the answer to fix everything? (( MATURE CONTENT ))
