NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON!!! 1st book in the Sternato Series (now called Captivation by Kate Taylor) It's a tale as old as time: a daughter paying for her father's sins. Mia Santoro has spent years distancing herself from her father's world-carving out a quiet life and atoning for the blood on her family's hands. But the mafia never really lets go. When her father is caught embezzling from the family, Mia is taken as collateral-dragged into the world of blood and betrayal she's spent her whole life avoiding. All she has is her unshakable compassion and a fierce determination to protect the people she loves. But nothing could prepare her for him-the man who pulled her into this life. Logan Sternato doesn't believe in mercy. He was raised to see love as a liability, emotion as weakness, and loyalty as a price paid in blood. When he takes Mia, he expects fear. Compliance. Obedience. Instead, he finds softness that disarms him-a quiet strength that unsettles him more than violence ever could. She makes him feel. And for a man like Logan, that's the most dangerous thing of all. Surviving the mafia is one thing. Surviving each other is another battle entirely. Introverted Charlie never expected to gain the attention of Dia, the chatterbox on the train, and he certainly wasn't expecting to fall in love. *** A few words can describe Charlie Jackson. He enjoys the simplicity of a coffee far more than the average person, and devotes too much time to his work - commuting included. But Charlie's life is far more complicated than meets the eye. Hindered by his stammer and the anxiety that occurs as a result, he has become accustomed to letting others use their voices for him. When Dia strolls into work one day, it seems that the universe has its own plans. Charlie instantly recognises her as the chatty woman from the train he takes five days a week. She's different in many ways, and it becomes clear that there's something between them. But the journey to love isn't so smooth sailing, especially when Dia's own battles come to light. Can Charlie fight his demons to support Dia in facing hers, or will his anxiety never allow him to become more than the stranger on the train? [COMPLETED] #1 Teen Mystery GET READY FOR A KILLER SUMMER! For sixteen year old Ryleigh Bennett, summer has always meant going away to a different sleep away camp and experiencing new things. She's excited to go to New Mexico where she expects to go hiking, swimming, and maybe even sleep outside under the stars. But as soon as she arrives on a small isolated island, it's obvious this is no ordinary camp. Suddenly, she is held captive with a group of other teenagers and they need to work together to escape. Ryleigh must push herself to new limits in the fight of her life in order to survive. REVIEWS: "From the first to the last page, the author creates an incredibly tense atmosphere that leaves the reader in constant anticipation about what's going to happen next. The desperate scramble for survival on unfamiliar terrain is often reminiscent of The Hunger Games. Each character brings something different to the table, from the caring Cal to headstrong Will, but is everyone who they say they are? Once you start reading this story, you won't want to stop." - DesignWizard "This book is one of my favorites! I love it! Your other books are amazing too!" - seejanereading "So much suspense! I thought this would be another typical teen fiction book but it's not. It's sooo good!" - JensanAplus "I'm OBSESSED! Love love love this book!" - Carriesgotone2

I could feel my eyes widening, heart thumping and the sickly wet feeling of a bead of sweat sliding down my forehead, down to my ear and stopping there. I wanted to lift my hand and wipe it off, but I couldn't let go of that stupid small hope of going unseen by this six foot broad shouldered silhouette, standing beside the now open door, if I don't move. I opened my mouth to shout for help, to scream at the intruder, but nothing came out. Acting on instinct I picked up the nearest thing that came into my hand. Nothing apart from the silhouette's outline was visible under the moonlight. I watched as he slowly lifted his head and then his whole body froze. I could feel my chest heaving up and down, my breath going in and out in a broken rhythm and then I threw the apple at him. Before he could react I grabbed another one and threw it at him again. Suddenly a deep, soul shaking voice shouted, "What the heck?" *** Extended summary/blurb inside🙃 Enjoy! *** Thank you for stopping by and voluntarily stepping into this madness!!
