More and more people in the pavilions are going missing, leading the Demon Slayer Corps to suspect that a demon is killing people. The head of the corps decides to send mist hashira to China to get rid of the creature. Many Chinese believe that the demons are just Japanese rumors and do not want to let slayer into the pavilions, so Muichiro has to pretend to be one of the serving woman to get in. However, the youngest concubine - Lishu, believes in the existence of demons which makes her afraid to go out at night. Muichiro will use this to function better in the pavilions.

It was all going great for Zenitsu as he made the first step into this new life as a demon, even new friendships and romance blossom. But things never seem to work out the way he wants them to.
