A Burzek story based on the song 'After the Storm' by Mumford and Sons. This will be based on the current storyline with Ruzek, Burgess, and Roman. Picking up with Roman moving to San Diego, and the fact that he 'probably' loves Kim. How will they repair their broken hearts? Will they end up together?

It's about a soldier (Jay, of course) and how he learns to live after the war. So he meets Erin, and everything will change. Just a collection of some short fan fics of Chicago PD's (tv show) partners Erin Lindsay and Jay Halstead. None of these are connected to each other, unless stated. These are all just one shot prompts.

Lindsey and Halstead let's go Voight yells. Sorry we're here. They enter the building cautiously. The suspect bolts out the door and punches and kicks Jay and then shoves him to the ground hard. Jay, Jay Antonio screams are you ok. I'll live he says wanting to cry. Antonio tries to get him up but Halstead can't, his face hurt as well as his ankle and wrist. Voight suspect is gone but Halstead is hurt. Hold him there we're coming. Halstead what hurts. Nothing he cries. You're cryinng what hurts jay, Voight now concerned. He punched me in the face hard and then shoved me to the ground so itwisted my ankle and landed on my wrist. Guys help him up. Ouch, stop guys Jay yells. Easy guys voight says. Ruzek pull the car around, Got it. Antonio and Lindsey help him to the car. Come on Jay don't cry. I cant he says my wrist is fine it's my foot that hurts really bad. we'll carry you ok. Now i feel special he laughs. You should they said. Once he's in the the car they head back to the station. Jay is your foot any better. A little but it still hurts. Here put this ice on it and we'll put this brace on it so you can chase with us. Later the suspect is found again and Halstead and Antonio go after him together. They were chasing him for a long time and he stops and kicks Antonio in the balls. Antonio falls over in pain. Then Jay pulls out his gun and shoots the suspect. Hey toni you alright. No he cries. As there riding back Antonio throws up hard from the pain. The next day Jay and Toni are better and are ready to chase the bad guys somemore.

Erin and jay find out what is really between them. Mathis is my first time doing this so take it easy! I do not own any characters they all belong to V NBC series Chicago PD.

A sequel (a very short one) to A Night Out. Can't really post much of a description without giving the story away..
