gerard is a failing artist. no one wants to buy his work, so he has to resort to working at starbucks so he can feed himself. frank is a frequenter of the local pretentious hipster café down the road from his small city apartment. but, unfortunately, that place goes down because no one but him goes there. so he has to resort to going to the overly crowded starbucks which is, admittedly, closer, but he still doesn't want to go there, given the amount of teenage girls gossiping about "Henry's new girlfriend". well there, frank sees the most beautiful art on the wall. it seems like nothing compare to it's utter, gritty, and pure beauty. then he meets the artist.
