This is a story about two people and one crazy family. Lance Mcclain has always been a loud kid. He's kind, loving, flirtatious, and loves to make people laugh. Well, that was until "the big breakup" happened. And as we won't get into details over it, let's just say it changed Lance forever. It made him scared to speak his mind, and before he knew it, he was selectively mute, a disorder in which makes him so anxious to talk to people that it makes him seem mute. He refuses to talk to anyone other than his best friend since preschool, Hunk, and his beloved family. And since a few months ago, his boyfriend Keith. Keith helped him with a lot, and as the two got ready for the summer, Keith remembered one very important detail. His summer vacation with his family. Terrified about leaving Lance behind, his father suggests the boy comes along, and with permission from Lance's family, they let him go. So what happens on this trip? Will Lance learn to trust Keith's family, or will he stay silent, using Keith to translate his sign language the whole way through? Let's see! As much as this seems like a ton of Langst, trust me, it's fluff. It's like 90% fluff, and 10% Langst. I hate making my baby sad, okay?
