I run a romance writing class and community called #romanceclass. In case you were looking for books like mine, I'll recommend these. Some books were not written during a workshop, but if they were written following the #romanceclass guidelines, you can expect: - Complete novels - Happy, satisfying endings - Characters who are NOT "average" - Gender/queer sensitive plots and characters - No sudden death or illness plot twists - If there are love scenes, they are consensual, responsible, and hot. Some books are mine, some are by other authors. Copies of the books can be found/bought from romanceclassbooks.com. Support an author, buy a book. :)

In the future, maybe, Maria Lourdes and Andres Miguel will be their country's best and most influential leaders. But today they're just college kids who want to be together. This was a short story called Extraordinary, and I've continued it into a full book in 3 parts. I'm posting part 1, BROKEN, here. All 3 parts will be available soon. :)

You can take the girl out of teenage hell, but you can't take teenage hell out of the girl. At fourteen, Andrea was a geeky, gangly teenager who spent one magical summer with the rich and famous-surrounded by art, polo ponies, and children who bear the names of corporations and main avenues. She had a mad crush on handsome trust fund baby Manolo, but her silly romantic notions were painfully crushed one night by spoiled, arrogant Jaime-the one boy she loved to hate, and who hated her right back. More than a decade later, Andrea is overworked and under-loved, with no man in sight and no intention of getting back to the delusional business of hoping and throwing caution to the wind. Ordered by her doctor to hightail it out of the city and into a true-blue vacation, she and her best friend, hippie-heiress Pilar, head off to a small, soon-to-open resort on a southern island. But Andrea's plans of a tranquil summer holiday are ruined by cruel reminders of the past-taking her back to her humiliations and her thwarted desires. (This #romanceclass novella is done! And available on Amazon! Huzzah :))
