"You would be willing to-" I struggled with the word as if saying it would make it all the more real. "You'd hurt someone for my sake?" I already knew the answer, but I felt the need to ask anyway. Yet, I couldn't bring myself to say the word. He walked around so that he was in front of me and for a moment he didn't move, but then he took my hands in his. His hands were still warm despite the fact that he was wearing nothing but a light coat when it was below zero outside. He brought my hands up to his lips, so close that I could feel his hot breathe against my icy fingers. "Aaralyn, I would kill for you."
