It's been days after the battle of the Red Death. Days since Dragons and Viking united and days since, the young boy, Hiccup was gravely injured defeating the Red Death. He's recovering well. His life is okay for now. Has a good relationship with Astrid and the other teens. But everything changes when he discovered something secret about his life.

Outcasts. They're the scum of viking culture, banished to live on an isolated island. But what happens when a teenage boy finds a rare dragon hatchling in the forest? Hayden 'Hiccup' Haddock is the school nobody. Alone and abused both at school and at home, he's relied on solely his wit and snappy comebacks. Having no one to turn to, he barely makes it through each passing day. Scrawny, scarred, and starving, he forces himself through every day. He calls himself Mr. Misunderstood, though everyone else calls him fishbone, or rat meat. Amber 'Astrid' Hofferson is Ms. Popular, getting along with everyone except for people like Hiccup. She refuses to acknowledge he exists, just like everyone else. When a new kid comes to school and befriends Hiccup as well as everyone else, worlds change and lives collide people never thought possible.

Prior to the rewrite, the story will first take place when Valka and Hiccup were captured, and Stoick picking himself up. For now it's their adventures we'll look into before Hiccup takes the wheel.

Here's another one of my fan-fictions. Imagine if Hiccup had mounted Toothless in the ring after he was saved from the Monsterous Nightmare. Once Hiccup was saved by toothless, his father dashed towards them with his axe raised but to the chief's surprise, they flew away. Hiccup flew as far away from Berk as fast as he possibly could and promised to never return because Hiccup knew he never truly belonged with them, the dragons killers while he was a dragon at heart. After Hiccup ran away he was soon presumed dead. 5 years later, Alvin the treacherous kidnapped Stoick to settle a feud. Both with Stoick and someone else. Stoick knew Hiccup was out there somewhere, alive and well deep down; but he kept trying to convince himself otherwise, and it was getting to be too long with too little hope. Then a strange young man shows up on the outcast island.

After a disastrous raid, Hiccup has been replaced as Heir to Berk and almost disowned by his father. Bullied, ostracised and alone, can he find a way to repair the damage and make his father proud of him? Set during and after the first movie.

He ran away because he was nothing but a burden. Five years later a mysterious rider came to Berk to defeat Dagur, but the truth is he came back to Berk to protect them.
