[EDIT: THERE IS A REWRITTEN/REVISED VERSION OF THIS FANFIC ON MY ACCOUNT! BE SURE TO CHECK THAT OUT TOO!] Patrick Stump has recently transferred to yet another new high school as his father continues to search for work. Due to loss of a family member back when he was very young, Patrick had become mute and hardly spoke for himself, thus causing a lack of friendship and a social life. At this school it affects him greatly as he faces the vulgar lashes of many people. But then Patrick meets Pete Wentz, an extremely well-known socialite with a rough attitude. But underneath those layers of being socially aware, Pete is also very caring, this demeanor masked by his popularity. Upon the first day of meeting Patrick, Pete immediately sets his mind on urging him out of his cracking shell, and perhaps being flanked by deeper emotion held for the silent, short boy. edit (10/31/2020): please note that i wrote this in SIXTH GRADE!!! as of rn i am a senior in high school lmao so i apologize bc this fic is rlly uh...full of not-so-great writing and me not understanding how shit works

A gay twist on a Harlequin tale. CEO Pete Wentz is in trouble. After a very emotional breakup with his girlfriend (emotional on her end of course), She decided to ruin his life. By selling false stories about Pete being a homophobic asshole. But only half of that is true. The head of his marketing team decides that to totally expel the rumors, Pete should hire a guy to pose as his boyfriend. And Patrick Stump is just the man for the job. After his boyfriend of almost ten years breaks up with him, Patrick finds himself in a stump. (haha) He can't afford to live in their apartment alone and his paintings haven't been selling well. So when he gets offered a job to pretend to date someone for fifty thousand dollars, he jumps at the opportunity. But can he keep his heart out of this artificial relationship? Or will real emotions surface from this faked love?

This is the dramatic sequel to 'Let's Not And Say We Did'. So read that one first. It's not all sunshine and rainbows after Pete And Patrick finally say "I Do". Kicking their enemies out of the wedding doesn't stop them from getting their payback. And they do it in a way that will change Pete and Patrick's lives together forever. Will their love be strong enough to withstand the challenges? Or will their "I Do" quickly become "I Did" ? (Don't read if you're expecting all happiness and fluff)
