I know my purpose. I was the 3rd of my kind, bred to create the new world. Bred with the power of flight I descend amongst the land taking everything under me. Sound: shrill cries and screams evade my senses. I put an end to it all and placed my arm down after the crippling formations of their creation decimates them. I turn to the skies and land upon one of the highest peaks of their land. The planet's curve gives me a good reading of where I should head next and master pinpoints the location from my reader located within my core. I travel there seeking new land when I am blocked by an incoming object. I read the details listed from the specification my core gives and I protrude the object easily through. From behind I hear the engines fail and the whistle of it falling downwards to the land. Smoke was the last I see before the object bursts into flames at the bottom. The sight reflects upon my red eye, analyzing. I must carry on my mission. Without another moment I take off again and onwards to my targets.

[April/July Camp NaNoWriMo] Survive, don't thrive. This had been the mantra passed down in every city and through every race of Raenata, a phrase to protect those who speak it from the vengeful Gods, who destroy all those who seek to attain their power. Cities like Linden have disrupted the peace that comes with the saying in a futile attempt to rebel, but they burned. Those who remain are in charge of the future, and they are responsible for passing down a small collection of words from one generation to the next. However, in Klaerice, things are beginning to change. Their oppressive motto hasn't been lost, but a shift in leadership makes the citizens believe maybe they can do a bit more than just survive. Celia Rastor and Greyce Winsir are just two young students in Klaerice, but both will discover secrets about themselves that they never hoped to find, from an emblem with connections to one of the burned cities being emblazoned on Celia's body to surviving in the toxic air outside the protective dome of Klaerice. Only they can save not only their thriving city on its path to destruction, but perhaps their whole world as well. *** Only Gods decide what's right and wrong. *** Cover by @sublime-
