Starting from season 4 episode 13 we see an AU where the story changes completely with an act of kindness from Caroline to Klaus. Caroline had set out to reconcile with Elena and instead is met by Klaus, who mourns the death of his youngest brother while trapped in Elena's living room by the Bennet witch Bonnie. How will Caroline satiate Klaus' new found bloodlust for the doppelgänger? And what happens when an unknown figure from the Original's past comes into the picture?

Essa história será desenvolvida a partir da ida de Caroline Forbes até Nova Orleans com as suas filhas, Lizzie e Josie. Chegando lá ela vai receber a notícia de que "Klaus Mikaelson, se foi" mas nem tudo estará perdido, Hayley vai entrar em contato com a mesma e vai contar tudo o que se passou com os Mikaelson's e principalmente com o Klaus que estará aprisionado por Marcel. Então ela ficará a par de tudo e vai decidir ajudar Hayley a reerguer a família mais antiga do mundo pra que eles possam resgatar um... Velho amigo dela? Antiga paixão? Amor da sua vida?
