Tragedy turns for the better as a small, winged child is given a second chance to live when she escaped a facility of unknown nightmares. Optics of soft blues have to understand the value and power of one so small to bring peace to her broken heart and wings.

In a battle with the Decepticons, Crosshairs got jumped from all sides. He got injured really bad and was in a comma like sleep for weeks. He got shot in the throat, hip, and chest. The Autobots thought he wasn't going to make it. With injuries like his, Ratchet had to work on him just about non stop. Drift was blaming him self for letting his partner down. Especially since Drift had liked Crosshairs for awhile.

A nine year old girl, who's mother left her when she was young and father abuses her, discovers a transformer and becomes emotionally connected to him. She feels safe when he's around, but what happens if she has to choose between the autobots and her true family? Who will she choose to stay with and leave behind?
