During a fall late fall night, Lapis and Peridot enjoyed the breeze on the rooftop of the barn. Although, they would keep their feelings hidden from each other, they would confess tonight. Who'd knew from such tragic and sad thoughts would cause the happy ones?

Peridot is having a hard time adjusting to earth life, no matter how much better it seems than Homeworld. She feels useless without limb enhancers, orders, and a purpose. Can she learn how to become a better gem than she was, without all of those things?

A lapidot AU. Lapis and Peridot are best friends! They have been for the past 11 years. They are both 16. Lapis is pretty popular and peri is just a normal high schooler but, when lapis makes a huge mistake will peridot and lapis' friendship turn into more?
