Nico Di Angelo didn't exist. Okay, yeah, he did exist. But not really to anyone outside of his small friend group. And even then, he was a quiet kid. It was easy for him to almost disappear even when he was with friends. He kind of blended in with the shadows, with the background. Will Solace was pretty well known, however. He wasn't exactly a popular kid, per say, but he was one that everyone knew. Everyone had some sort of story about him, whether it was simply having a class with him, or having to witness him fall out of a tree. nico's a demon, will's an angel, and they fall in love during a war. what could possibly go wrong? intentional lowercase for the description; the actual fic has proper capitalization. the writing is pretty bad and the plot is all over the place but it's cutesy sometimes so knock yourselves out. if swearing bothers you, skip the author's notes because i swear sometimes. the actual fic has no strong language.

When Will is told he has to go to high school, he doesn't have much of an opinion. Go there, protect some students, hang out with people he barely knew, be over with it. Fine, whatever. Though he finds himself having to be near a Nico Di Angelo an awful lot... Nico'd rather not be near anyone, period. People were annoying, after all, and he didn't trust them much.
