The demigod decided to travel the ocean and keep monsters from attacking amd stealing the heart of Te Fiti again. However, his mind kept wandering back to the future chieftess of Motinui. Should he go back to see her and let his heart take over his pride? Or should he stay on the ocean and far away? Part One of the Purakau stories. Moana, now the new Chief of Motunui, rushes off to rescue Maui from the clutches of the goddess of death in the face of another crisis on her island.
