❝ Get on your knees, Red. ❞ Forks, Washington is the kind of place where nothing is supposed to happen. Which is probably why Brooklyn sticks out so much. Bella Swan's cousin-sharp-tongued, sarcastic, always a little too honest for her own good. The kind of person people in Forks are used to seeing but never really figuring out. She's known, she's noticed, she's just... never fully understood. Especially not by the Cullens. Until Bella comes back to town and everything starts to tilt. Because Brooklyn has opinions. Loud ones. Especially about Edward Cullen, who she decides she doesn't like from the very first second-and somehow makes that everyone's problem. Then there's Jasper Hale. He notices her the second she walks into the room. Something about the way she moves, the way she laughs, the way she looks like trouble waiting to happen, it pulls at him. She notices him too. And in three hours, it's not just a look, not just a conversation. She sleeps with him. Because when Brooklyn wants something, she doesn't ask for permission. And Jasper, who's spent decades learning to control everything, suddenly can't control a single thing.

This tale unfolds against the backdrop of the War of the Ring, spanning from the era preceding the Battle of the Five Armies to the dawn of the Fourth Age. It starts on a journey to establish the setting, introduce the characters, and delve into the central narrative that revolves around the untimely demise of the Elven Queen and the menacing curse that ensnares the Prince of Mirkwood, along with an unwitting mortal who becomes entangled in this web of intrigue. However, this is merely the inception of our tale. Brace yourself for an enduring adventure filled with interwoven conflicts, the insidious allure of the Ring, and the ever-shifting dynamics among our compelling cast of characters. At its core, this narrative cherishes the essence of adventure shared by the Fellowship of the Ring, emphasizing the bonds of friendship and the depth of love amidst tumultuous times. In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago. How she'd argue with anyone that stood in her way, nearly taking the head off the captain of the guard when he would not head her warning of the armies coming from Morgoth. ✨NOT A HOBBIT FANFIC IT IS SET DURING LORD OF THE RINGS✨ A/N I do not own any character other than Naehlara and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Naehlara. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if i got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story Also maybe be slow updates due to work but I hope to put out consistently!

The youngest of Lord Elrond's children has always been different from her siblings. A part of her seemed to be locked away, waiting for the right moment to burst forth. Despite this, she was loved, she was treasured and she was protected... until she wasn't. The day she unlocked her true self is a day that haunts her. Instead of the assured protection of her family, she became the protector. That day lingers. It scars. The traumatic event not only affected her but her family. As time moves forward the scar remains, not loudly or visible but it remains. Until an event occurs and that nightmare was said to slink back into darkness, providing a semblance of peace. A small fire, a source of heat for her but a beacon for unsavoury characters. That is all took for the nightmare to come back. That once locked part now pulsates. A warning perhaps or a sign of evolving. She seeks out a wizard for her answers and instead she leaves with more questions and uncertainties. She offers her help when asked, a small thing for a dear friend... Oh how she regrets that. Dwarves! Dragons! Wargs! She did not agree with this. She did not agree with it at all! Amongst, verbally combating with dwarves, playing therapist to an emotionally compromised hobbit, refraining from pushing an annoyingly vague wizard; she finds the past does not remain there. Legolas x oc I own nothing but my original characters and original plot.

Amariel is swept into the fractured plains of Rohan as the Fellowship is broken and the War of the Ring ignites. No longer hidden by the secret that shielded her to sixty years, she finds herself directly in the crosshairs of Saruman, whose dark gaze has fixed upon her, demanding her head to crush a rising threat he cannot fully foresee.
