Young Adele Curtis is happy with her life as a greaser. She has an awesome boyfriend and loves her brothers and sister. Life is perfect, until she gets caught walking alone by a gang of Socs. She runs and screams, but the gang just barely gets there quick enough to save her from any more trauma.

Kate is a 16 year old girl who has just moved from New York City to Tulsa, Oklahoma. When she gets there, she thinks she will never be able to make friends with all of the cliques at her new school. She makes a few friends on her first day, but when she decides to stand up for those friends against the Socs, she catches the attention of a few Greasers.
