Clary and Isabelle were going to make the announcement that they were going to be becoming parabatai but before that could happen everything falls apart. Both the girls find their boyfriends cheating on them as the clock strikes 12 for Christmas day. Lost, angry and hurt they make the decision to leave everything they know to start again. Clary was supposed to play Jace's love interest, but Clary, being the fiery and stubborn person, she declined. She rather play Jace's sister.
