We know you have powers; we can sense them on you. We can do this because we have powers too. We call it magic. If you want, we can show you.” “Prove it then.” ~^~^~^~^~ There was a monster inside of her – a dark thing that always tried to claw its way out, ripping her insides to shreds as it went. She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. In which I have chucked my little plot bunnies on love and fated meetings. It will sound cheesy, and you may not get it but that's okay - love cannot be understood anyway.

Poetry, filled with angst, maybe some bittersweet ones, perhaps happy, if I actually get there. Relationships, friendships, memories and yearnings for things long gone and long lost. A virtual anthology of the scandals these poems are, at your fingertips! Angsty poems are kind of overrated, but I'll keep practicing. Do give feedback!! The formatting is something I cannot help, so do me a favour by imagining that the poems are oriented to the middle and in Times New Roman because the fonts on Wattpad do not inspire creativity in me.

A story of firsts and lasts and things of war. ~~~~~~~~~~ In the aftermath, when the Valkyries come to collect the souls of the heroes and when the slaves of Hell come too, to gather that of the undeserving. It was forever for them. "Always," they said. Their love would last till the end of time, even through the dangers that her life brought. True love trumps all. And yet, sometimes you have to hurt someone to protect them. Sometimes, things just don't work out.

Mark my words, I will use this excerpt one day. But I was feeling stressed out and down so I just wrote. It's about a girl, with problems. Lots of problems. Her thoughts are random, jumping from one issue to the next. And yet you can relate after a while. Who knows, she could be right. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
