Every Halloween, Matt Kristen sees mysterious people coming to his neighborhood. They stay at his neighbors' houses and seem to not come out. One Halloween, when the mysterious people enter Matt's house.....

Dr. Bently has seen more patients than he cares to think about. Each day is the same- go in, evaluate, give feedback to the others, and never think about those he saw again. It's not until an unexpected patient turns up in his evaluation that he realizes everything he was brought up to believe has been a lie.
