"Welcome," Mr Tuma indicates the seat in front of his big oak desk and smiles at you affably. "Please sit," he intones in his usual melodic voice. You sit nervously, after your experience with the council last night; you don't know what to expect. So you sit on the edge of your seat to give yourself a greater chance to escape, should things go sideways. The Principal chuckles looking like the same old inviting principal you knew yesterday, but now you know he's not."Thanks for coming in this morning. I thought we could spend a couple of minutes getting reacquainted. " You sit silently and fidget nervously with your book bag. He just smiles at you reassuringly and says," I see, not in the mood for a chat. Okay just know my door is always open.." You nod your head stiffly -- anything to get out of the office and on with your new life. "I promise this will only take a moment. As Haven High's newest Enlightened student there are few things I think you should know." Firstly, this world is not for the feint of heart. We'll expect you to study hard and train even harder. Secondly, I know everyone is exceedingly attractive but looks can be deceiving, it would behoove you to remember that. Thirdly, magic will be the most invigorating and exhilarating experience you've ever had , but never underestimate it , because it's also deadly. "Do you have any questions?" You stare at him wide eyed and tight lipped until he leans forward behind his desk to say. "I know you'll do just fine here. Run along now." he dismisses you with a wave of his hand. And you rush to leave the room, he calls out before you can shut the door, "Oh and don't forget, our world is not to be shared with anyone who was not previously aware of it. Understood?" You gulp at the serious as a heart attack look on his face and say in a rush:,"I would never," but you wonder as you leave can you really keep that promise.

Winner of Best New Story of the Year 2017. The Haven High Series: Book 1: Enlightened; Book 2: Addicted; Book 3: Despaired; Book 4: Protected; Book 5: Abducted; Book 6: Betrayed; Book 7: Beloved; Book 8: Transformed; Book 9: Ascended. (All nine stories contained in this one book) Enlightened: Zachary's an ordinary teen going to a regular high school. At least, he thinks so, until he finds out he's not. Now he's going to have to live in a world he doesn't understand, he doesn't think is safe, and he knows is discriminatory. He doesn't know any of the rules, but he knows breaking them can come at a cost that few are willing to pay. At least he doesn't have to navigate this mysterious world alone. He has his best friend Lauren, a halfblood fae, to help him learn the ropes. Now, he just has to decide if he can live a secret life-- One that includes: black market magic, underground criminal creatures, deadly weapons, and finally conscription to a corrupt magic council--all because he and the other members of his school were unfortunate enough to be born... Halfbloods Addicted: Cameron the halfblood Selkie and Megan the halfblood Mermaid had more reasons to fear the sea than the dangerous magical world they live in. Both thought they had found a love that nothing could tear apart, but neither had banked on the long perilous year they were about to embark on. A year froth with ancient curses and blood feuds, unbreakable death pacts and magical subterfuge, unstoppable enemies and finally, an addiction born of desperation. In the end, will their love survive the call of the Sea? UPDATED! Daily © 2017 These stories and works ARE COPYRIGHTED. "Mooooorrrrrrrreeeeeeee, this book is like air, i need it!" @noromance101 "These chapters are written BEAUTIFULLY! You are, without a doubt, my favorite writer on this site. " @nagykt "Reading this feeds my soul." @Yrthraethra Sixteen-year-old Mirra can see people's memories. She is a Shadow Weaver, one of the outlawed, glitter-eyed race feared in her land and forced into brutal slavery as children. She and her brother Kel have escaped their fate by hiding near the frozen mountains. But when bounty hunters snatch Kel, Mirra injured and unable to track long distances will lose him unless she gives herself up to his captors. As as a Shadow Weaver who's survived childhood and whose golden-flecked irises have faded, concealing her talent, Mirra's own value is priceless on the black-market. Taken to a lawless town in the northern territories, Mirra convinces her captors to sell her to a mysterious young man destined for the same province as the officer who has bought her brother. The young man is the Kingdom's missing Prince, feared dead after his escort was attacked on an expedition. He has been in hiding, waiting for a Shadow Weaver whose skill he can use to discover who ordered his assassination. But before he will risk breaking his father's law and taking Mirra to the royal court, he must test her talent and her ability to hide it. If Mirra fails, her hopes of seeing her brother again will be cut by the noose around her neck. HIGHEST RANKING #1 in Fantasy on Wattpad. #1 Amazon Sword & Sorcery This book was taken down in DEC 2017 due to publishing restrictions. It is now possible to put it back up on wattpad. COMPLETE #1 in Fantasy #1 in Adventure #1 in Historical Fiction ---------- Sometimes, believing helps us to see truth. Other times, we need a little evidence to believe. But there is truth behind everything; every false manoeuvre, ever little lie...a small piece of truth is hidden. Just like truth is wound into legends too. Then she lost her father at a young age and Arabelle was forced into a world of dresses, balls, and lies. Being a tomboy, Arabelle would have rather been out on her horse doing archery practice with her brothers. When Arabelle gets curious and sneaks into a forbidden area of the castle, she discovers a deadly secret: her bloodline is sacred, dating back to a legend surrounded by the one thing she knows not to be true. Unsure what to do, she gets caught up in a series of events that lead to her being hidden and whisked away from the only familiar place she knew. After making some unlikely allies, Arabelle sets off on a journey to find the legend of the last dragon egg. Fate has something big in store for her; will she be able to withstand the pressure of it all? There is one thing Arabelle needs to learn to survive this new place...
