Mitch Grassi is one of the handfuls of students that got accepted into Martian high school's foreign exchange program. Scott Hoying lives a perfectly average life before Mitch shows up a few weeks before summer break will end. He's working double shifts as a smoothie shop while acting as the captain of the Martian soccer league. Not to mention that Scott feels like he's raising his half-sister while his mom works endless shirts. Adding another aspect of drama into his life is not something Scott wants, well that was true before he met Mitch Grassi.

"What the hell are you and why are you following me?" I demanded, angrily, as I rubbed my sore arms. "I am a Specially Created Observational Technological Trainee, otherwise known as an S.C.O.T.T. Your safety is my top priority. I have been trained to tend to my human," he explained. Ok, I could play along. "Well, S.C.O.T.T is too much to say, so I'm going to call you Scott, is that ok?"
