Hyrule has burned. No more is the vibrant kingdom that was once protected by the Hero. Now is the reign of evil, an evil without end. Hope is a word used without meaning, and hero is all but lost. Could one even stand if the people of Hyrule don't even know what they would be calling on?

Hyrule is at peace, or so the Royal Family would have its people believe. Something is afoot in the kingdom, and someone needs to do something about it. Least likely would be Marksmen Link Sayre- a mercenary and monster hunter doing his best to get by. Until a job goes wrong, and he gets roped into the secret plans of Hyrule's princess. Now Link must play the part of the Hero to dive deeper into the mystery, and maybe stumble into a legend of his own.

Basically I'm trash for this ship and yeah

Under the guise of Sheik, the once-princess Zelda awaits the coming of the hero of legend to free her kingdom from the usurper who stole her birthright. But when she finds him, she discovers the new queen has stolen her likeness: All of Hyrule believes that Princess Zelda grew up to be an evil tyrant, and Link himself is on a quest to slay her. Fearing the worst, the true Zelda hides her identity from the hero. But as the two grow closer, keeping secrets grows harder. When truths finally come to light, however, it is not only her name that is revealed. An ancient curse is brought into the open, and the very foundation of the realm of Hyrule is shaken. The undying hatred of a god slain long ago must finally be laid to rest, and in the end all must come full circle. (Draws lore from Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword, but very little prior knowledge of any one game is necessary to understand.)

Revali had been chosen to pilot a gigantic mechanical bird in the name of Hyrule. While he prepares himself to fight for the protection of Hyrule he couldn't help but grow to loathe the destined Hero, Link. However as time passes and (as Revali is somewhat forced to spend time with Link) those feelings change to something less like hatred and something more...loving.

Link did all he had to do. He defeated Calamity Ganon he activated and completed all the shrines. He was done. However when Princess Zelda perishes after the battle with Ganon she has one clear dying request: Link has to be the next ruler of Hyrule.
