This isn't your typical "Little Mermaid" that everyone knows, it's actually a bit different. For one, the 'mermaid' is actually a 'merman'. And he's in love with the prince of the human kingdom. And the prince isn't the 'nice guy' that all people picture a prince as in all those fairytales. In fact, he's really cruel to all peasants and people of the kingdom. Eren, the merman, might be able to at least change Levi, the prince, from his way of treating people. But everything comes with a price. And that price might prevent Eren from being with Levi. I do not own the cover art or any characters used in this story.

Levi never wanted to be dragged out on that damn motor boat. It just sort of happened. And when he feels eyes watching him, suspicion grows over as he awaits Hanjis return. Before they knew it, they were engaging in conversation with a merman named Eren. But when Hanji decides to take Eren back to the lab for experiments, what will happen? 2020 edit: It's been 6 years since I've written this. I wrote it when I was in middle school, and my writing has improved tremendously. While I am by no means proud of the work you are about to read should you wish to delve into these digital pages, this was the start of my career as an author. This was the first work I ever saw to the end, and it serves sentimental value rather than practicality. I hope you are able to get something out of it if anything at all.
