Being an Alpha of a massive pack without having the ability to communicate verbally has its setbacks. After a tragic accident that happened to him when he was a child, Alpha Jaxton hasn't spoken to anyone. The Alpha can only communicate through mind-links, mainly with his most trusted Beta. One night, at an annual gathering consisting of members from all of the East Coast packs, he discovers his mate; however he faces a dilemma: he can't speak to her.
