He stalked towards me like a lion and I was the unfortunate prey. My heart was going crazy inside my rib cage, begging to leap out of my chest because it knew better than my brain. I was in trouble.
My back met the blackboard behind me. I gulped. The lack of light in the classroom wasn't at all comforting. It wasn't long before he was standing right in front of me, his tall stature making me feel vulnerable.
"God, Mr. Jackson, I thought you're here to save me. You're scaring me."
He placed a hand beside my head and then leaned to me. I could perfectly see his blue eyes. Glazed, pupils dilated, hungry.
"Which do you really want? You kept telling me to save you, Miss Crane. But your eyes tells me something." He spoke so low, his rich baritone voice sending vibrations ringing all over my body.
"And what do they tell?" I asked.
He smirked, "to ravish you."
