(On Hiatus) Islands of mysteries (Pokemon Sun and Moon)

(Please make sure to read the last paragraph. It's important.)
Moving on is never easy, especially from a past full of pain you were born into. Knowing only yourself and your immediate family, keeping the world out, it's not easy to step outside the lines. In a world where traveling is a norm, and everyone makes your alarms go off, how are you to ever make friends?
What happens when you're so used to having your walls up, that once they're down and you have a taste of the world you've been denying yourself, and you want more? Confused and flying by the seat of her pants, this is what Selene Fuentes faces. A world she has only ever seen and read about, but has deliberately never taken part in. Until her family moves, and she ends up finding a door in her walls that she thought was locked forever. Stuck in her life before, and plagued with hatred and fear of losing her control. She knows it's not good for her, but watches her loved ones move on as she is stuck. Then the door is unlocked, and she is given the most important choice of her life. Go with what is comfortable, or open the door. Not for someone else, but for herself.
This is a story of personal growth and coping. Looking towards the future even when your instincts are to stay where you are. With themes of hope, family, and obviously finding yourself. As well as a few darker topics such as abuse, mental problems, and mature themes like substance use. But they are handled with respect, as I did my research, and wanted to portray them correctly. I do not play these off as comedic releaf, or shock value. Except for the people who smoke weed. That's not a problem it's just something that happens. I wanted the story to be a little more realistic. But it also has anime world physics, like if a Pokemon spits fire at someone, they will be covered in sut. And anime logic. As well as cussing. So please read with caution if you're sensitive to any of this. And please enjoy.
