Als sie es schließlich schafft, muss Hermine mit entsetzten ansehen, was der Professor wirklich vorhatte. In ihrem Versuch, alles zu retten, macht sie allerdings alles schlimmer und schließlich passiert das Unmögliche. Sie und Blaise Zabini tauschen ihre Körper. Gefangen in dem Körper des besten Freundes von Draco Malfoy muss sich Hermine mit allen möglichen Problemen herumschlagen. The war had more than taken it's tole on the golden trio, and Harry was worn, tired and filled with sadness and grieving. He felt so much sorrow, and had no idea what to do with it. The Weasley's had taken a month or so to get back to their somewhat normal selves... but not everyone was the same. And you can't after all of the losses that they had dealt with. But Harry feels something heal whenever he is around Hermione. She had always known what to do and what the right thing to say was, and that was one thing that hadn't changed. But he started to get distant to Ginny and gravitate towards Hermione, who seemed to be one of the only people capable of making him happy.

In their 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, shortly after Hermione realises she is smitten with Ron, he begins dating Lavender Brown, and Hermione is devastated. As her best friend, Harry makes a brash decision and tries to help Hermione the only way he knows. The plan is to pretend that they are a couple in hopes that Ron becomes jealous, but the temporary "relationship" quickly gets out of hand. *For the purpose of this story, Voldemort was killed in The Battle of The Department of Mysteries.* started: 2013 finished: 2014
