Mortals often dream of being Gods and Goddesses. They are beautiful, have all they desire, worshipped and can play tricks with mortals for fun. But what if a God desires something he cannot have? What would happen if a Goddess wished for death? Most of her life Persephone was raised as a mortal girl, living on Earth in meadows and forests with woodland nymphs. Kept away from Mount Olympus by her mother, to save her from the problems that often arise between the Gods and Goddesses there, jealousy, betrayal, lust... Love. But her little experience with Gods leaves her vulnerable to one of the most feared Gods, Hades. Just how many troubles and heartache can one Goddess endure in an eternity?

Persephone dances through the meadow, her unkempt curls streaming out behind her like a russet waterfall; her green eyes alight with the fire of youth. She throws back her head and sings a prayer, her voice surpassing the calls of songbirds and the gentle gurgle of the stream. When she laughs, the landscape rejoices, basking itself in her bliss. She never frowns, but if she did, trees would instantly wither, the stream would halt its happy laughter, and the birds would cease their chorus. She is the very heart and soul of the earth. Her smile is the summer heat, her hair is the autumn leaves; her breath is the dawn of spring. But Winter is coming, biding its time to entice and corrupt. Hades is watching.

The only contact they ever make is making love to one another, and afterwards a conversation is always awkward or cut short. Persephone is kidnapped by Hades, wonderful. But little does she know that thanks to that she's going to meet her soulmate. Problem is she doesn't know who it is. Hades, or the Egyptian God of mummies Anubis, who actually seems to care about her. Anubis and Hades meanwhile are both fighting for Persephone's affection, they both love her but only one of them can be her husband. But will their useless contest end up screwing it up for both of them? An update, and a new take, on the classic story from mythology of Persephone and Hades. This is the story, I am working on a book and a screenplay.

She waitresses at her local bar, pays her bills on time, has a secret crush on Detective Josh Cooper and let's her friend Shae drag her to parties when she'd rather be curled up at home buried in the latest paranormal fantasy. In one night though, her life becomes a paranormal fantasy when she is attacked by Titans and saved by a man claiming to be Hermes, Messenger of the Gods. Hermes tells her she is a reincarnated deity, with latent powers she must remember so she can return the recently escaped Cronos back to Tartarus. Thea refuses to believe such nonsense but with the strange things happening around her, Thea begins to discover that fantasy is more closer to reality than she once thought...
